The first challenge was picking the right tool. We decided to go with Grandpa Chimpy's old horse clippers. If they were good enough for Teabiscuit, they're good enough for us.
The second challenge was getting the bowl on Chimpy's head.
But the hardest part was steeling our nerves. Mama almost couldn't go through with it.
Steady... steady...
"You have done this before, haven't you?" Chimpy reconsiders the bowl.

Great grandad Batten used a colander on grandad that is why he has curly hair or else the bowl was not the right size the clippers were the same From Battenham Palace
